About Destiny Kelly

Marketing and communications have been central to my work experience since graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Management and Society. This degree encompasses not only managerial principles, but also issues such as industrial psychology, industrial sociology, personnel administration, worker education and human resource management. This degree has allowed me to apply both a business and a people-centric mindset to my work.In my prior position as a Client Stories Lead at Accenture, I worked as a project manager with a variety of stakeholders and creative teams to turn client project work into marketing materials, including webpages, templates, social media and ad campaigns. Technical projects were converted into everyday storytelling language for use on Accenture's website, in Accenture white pages and research, at events, and for client pitches and C-suite discussions. Projects and campaigns often had short or quickly changing timelines, giving me valuable experience in prioritization, organization, coordination, and an eye for detail.In addition, previous roles have introduced me to analytics and reporting. Using tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and other internal programs, I have been responsible for tracking internal and external site traffic and crafting regular reports for leadership. I have also been responsible for site updates and blogs using WordPress and crafting newsletters and other email communications using a variety of e-marketing tools.Outside of the office, you can find me searching for new indie music and building playlists, switching between game consoles, or going on excursions with my two pups. In the future, I’d like to further develop my creative skills in coding, game design and asset creation, Photoshop, video editing and VFX.
