My cat club that I began when I was 9 years old should've been some indication that caring for animals would be my calling. The person you see saving turtles from the road way, feeding and fostering strays, to having basically a farm myself veterinary medicine sorrounds me and I couldn't imagine a world where helping these innocent creatures wasn't what i was meant for. In 2022 I decided to start my journey into the field by beginning my studies for a veterinary assistant certification, where I carried a 4.0 GPA as one of the top in my class, along perfect attendance. My passion grew even more as I was encouraged by my fellow classmates, being one of the go-to people they'd have assist, restrain, and even ask basic advice from. With more than 10 years working in management and client relation services, I was pleased to know that my leadership skills could be useful here as well. Continuing my studies into veterinary medicine is what will fuel future missions to begin in animal behavior, rescues, and sanctuaries. this has always been my ultimate goal and is why partnering with a clinic who's owner dedicates time and resources to animals in need is an important step to continue on this journey.
