I am passionate about, and have a proven track record in, organising and managing aspects of Information Technology in the most efficient way possible. Specifically:• Aligning IT with business strategy – at CBA, determined and implemented technological and organisational changes to align with a strategic services model (including smartsourcing), Services Oriented Architecture and Agile methodology, and led my team through the changes.• Organisational Structure – in all previous roles, organised teams and people to effectively meet both customer and staff expectations;• Project and Program management – set up a PMO at AMP, project managed the development and implementation of all CommSee code modules at CBA (c. $100mill). Change approver for the $1bill+ SAP Core Banking replacement.• Financial and budgetary optimisation – at CBA, determined and managed the incremental spend on CommSee 3rd level support and maintenance (c.$10mill pa), and the spend on tools and process optimisation (c. $6 mill pa), plus a people budget in excess of $40mill pa.• Development methodology and tools – led the development of an SDLC at AMP and CBA, accountable for the Agile practice and Continuous delivery capability, and LEAN process optimisation in my 400 strong team at CBA.• Application Development and maintenance – managed the development and/or implementation of countless in-house and package applications for banking, investments and superannuation businesses.
