As a Digital Forensic Examiner, Michael has conducted hundreds of forensic digital media examinations for Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies. He has over 1000 hours of forensic training from top tier organizations such as the the National Computer Forensic Institute, National Forensic Training Center, AccessData, Mobile Forensic Inc, National White Collar Crime Center, Internet Crimes Against Children an the Department of Criminal Justice Training to name a few. As a police detective, Michael has investigated over 1000 felony cases. He has given successful courtroom testimony in over 250 of these cases. His investigation and courtroom testimony has led to convictions in Federal and State court for crimes such as Murder, Robbery, Rape, Assault, Kidnapping, Cyber Crime and Identity Theft.Michael was one of the first law enforcement officers in the United States to attend forensic training at the US Secret Service lab in Hoover, Alabama. Michael was instrumental in the development and implementation of the University of Louisvile / KY RCFL's Micro-Labs project. Michael is currently working towards his Masters of Science in Digital Forensics from the University of Central Florida.
