Train Control And Diagnostic Engineer
CurrentAs a Train Control and Diagnostic Engineer, my responsibilities include improving maintenance efficiency as well as optimizing train performance. Some of my main tasks include performing failure mode analyses for Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and conducting single failure diagnostics for these same units. I am also responsible for creating events, faults and incorrect operation events, which will be displayed at the Operations Control Center (OCC), to facilitate predictive train maintenance.In addition, as part of my duties, I provide proactive monitoring by developing detection and diagnostic algorithms to prevent failures before they occur. This includes not only analyzing historical and real-time data and the return of experience provided by the previous projects, and also collaborating with other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of the proposed solutions. My role is crucial to ensure the reliability and safety of rail operations, while reducing costs and train downtime.This work requires a thorough understanding of train control systems, as well as an ability to analyze control circuits and their working. Therefore, my role is central to achieving anticipatory maintenance and to making continuous improvements to the overall performance of the trains.
