As a passionate student success leader and certified Agile project manager with over a decade of expertise in higher education, I bring a human-centered approach to empowering students. At the University of Montana (UM), I champion the orientation, transition, and retention of undergraduate students across our two-year and four-year campuses. My work includes mentoring and advising a team of 90+ volunteer student ambassadors and fostering growth as an instructor for first-year seminars rooted in human-centered design, Global Leadership Initiative capstone projects, and leadership development courses. My professional journey began in the Undergraduate Admissions Office at UM, where I developed expertise as an admissions counselor and later as the program and events coordinator. As a graduate student at The Pennsylvania State University, I honed my skills further, contributing to the Parents Program and Student Activities and Leadership offices.Beyond higher education, I’m deeply committed to community-building and advocacy. In 2022, I co-founded Missoula Pride alongside Logan Foret in partnership with the Western Montana LGBTQ+ Community Center (WMCC). This vibrant annual celebration spans 60+ events, from educational sessions and national touring acts to drag brunches, roller discos, and the iconic Pride Parade and Block Party. In its first three years, Missoula Pride was voted among the top three annual festivals in Missoula twice, has raised over $50,000 for the WMCC, and became Montana’s largest Pride celebration with more than 20,000 attendees each year.
