“Private Network” Project: Relocate IT devices such as computers, printers, and network devices from numerous Labs, and reorganized them to specific subnets for each department and labso Configured computer & printers (DHCP and printing by hostname)o Worked closely with other IT teams to meet demands of aggressive scheduleo Updated configuration documents, and maintained inventory lists “Windows XP Upgrade” Project: Upgraded all campus computers to Windows 7 Typical Day to day Responsibilities: Manage and resolve problem ticketso Troubleshoot and resolve Software, Hardware, and Network issueso Provide phone, onsite, and remote support to ‘customers’o Resolve LAN wired and wireless network Issues• Install and Configure Cisco, and Brocade network switches and routers• Troubleshoot network cabling issueso Resolve Hardware issues, and perform non-warranty hardware repairs when necessary on Disk drives, memory, power supply, CD/DVD drives, and Peripheralso Resolve issues with Virus protection, MS Office Suite, Java, Adobe, etc.o Track tickets using ‘Remedy’ ticket tracking systemo Install, Upgrade, configure, and deploy MAC OS X, Windows XP OS, and Windows 7 OSo Ghost Windows computers using Acronis; Use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone Mac computers Familiar with the following utilities: Connected Backup for PC, Retrospect, CrashPlan, Landesk client/server, Bomgar, Disk Utility and Tech-tool Pro/Disk Warrior, & KeyChain
