Hello! Welcome to my LinkedIn page.I'm an experienced researcher & public speaker, workshop designer/facilitator, and community builder. Link to my best work: https://linktr.ee/devlewis My career has spanned think tanks and the private sector, and has taken me from Shanghai to Bangkok, Rhode Island to Zhengzhou. I've written for publications such as Nesta & Berkman Klein, spoken at GSMA Mobile Week and Funding the Commons, and quoted in Nikkei and South China Morning Post on topics such as AI governance, Social Credit System and Data governance in China, and China-India relations (in 中文 too). I used to write a Substack ChinaIndiaNetworked.My interests lie at the intersections of digital technology, law and policy, geopolitics, planetary regeneration, and authentic living.     The 'India in the Chinese Media project', run out of Bangalore's NIAS, is a first of its kind project that provides complete and daily coverage of India & SAARC related commentaries and news in Chinese media translated into english. The aim of the project is to influence public opinion and key decision makers in India by bridging the information deficit between India and China and give Indians a window into China's official perceptions.I assembled and managed a team that translated short and long form articles from a number of Chinese political and defence newspapers; translated and proofread nearly 2,000 characters everyday.
