Research Assistant at the Biobehavioral Pediatric Pain Lab of the Stanford University School of Medicine, led by Dr. Laura Simons.• Lead RA on Pain Rehabilitation with Virtual Reality (PRVR), a study investigating the feasibility and impact of integrating virtual reality into chronic pain rehabilitation in pediatric populations. Responsibilities included tracking patient data, patient screening in Epic, assisting with on-site training of physical therapists in using VR headsets.• Lead RA on Treatment Pathways for Musculoskeletal Pain (TaP for MSK), a retrospective chart review using electronic medical records to identify racial, ethnic and socioeconomic characteristics as well as clinical factors that impact the treatment recommendations, referrals to specialty health, and future healthcare utilization of children presenting to primary care with musculoskeletal pain. Gained extensive familiarity with electronic health records, and data entry in REDCap. Collaborated with team of researchers to develop iterative process of reviewing medical records.• Shadowed psychologists in pain clinic during evaluations of new pediatric chronic pain patients.
