As a Full Stack Developer at CWI, I collaborate with CIEERS(Centro de Integração Empresa-Escola) to design, develop, and maintain interconnected platforms for managing internship contracts, processing payments, and facilitating B2B communications. Utilizing TypeScript, NextJS, TailwindCSS, Java, and the Spring Framework, along with micro-backends, I contribute to scalable and efficient solutions that streamline operations. My work enhances user experience and ensures robust backend functionality, facilitating effective internship program coordination. Collaborating in an Agile environment, I drive innovation and maintain high code quality and performance. • Frontend & Backend Development: Utilize TypeScript, NextJS, TailwindCSS, Java, and Spring Framework to build and maintain robust application components. • API Development: Implement new endpoints for additional functionalities to enhance platform capabilities and ensure seamless integration between multiple systems. • Micro-Backend Architecture: Develop and manage multiple micro-backends to ensure modularity, scalability, and efficient service orchestration. • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, QA testers, and senior developers within an Agile/Scrum team to deliver high-quality features. • Lifecycle Participation: Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment. • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards. • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure smooth project progression.

The internship began with a front-end module, where I learned Single Page Applications (SPAs) using JavaScript and React. Live lectures covered frontend development, including tools like React Router DOM, useState, useContext, and private routes. This foundation allowed me to build responsive and interactive web applications.Next, I focused on backend development with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA, and Hibernate. I designed databases with PostgreSQL, created and maintained endpoints, and ensured the application’s performance and scalability. I also collaborated with external APIs and learned unit testing for system reliability.Finally, we applied our knowledge in a group project to develop a full-stack application—an Individual Development Plan (IDP) management system. The system generated personalized learning paths for technical employees and provided valuable data to administrators and managers.We used Trello for task management and GitLab for version control. Docker streamlined the development process and facilitated deployment.Through these experiences, I gained proficiency in frontend and backend development, contributing to the final product and providing tangible value to the organization.

Extracurricular internship, which consisted of a study period with asynchronous classes, covering 4 distinct modules that addressed Java, Relational Databases with PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, each having a final project. At the end of the modules, we conducted a group project that allowed us to practically apply everything we learned during the classes.
