Apprentice to learn tabla (Indian Percussion) with Guruji Maan Sahib in Sunnyvale, California

2 week biomedical research program, learning about molecular biology in different cancers. Along with lecture, there was a individual presentation learning about an aspect of molecular biology in cancer that we did not cover in the lectures. I chose to learn about the TGF-B (transforming growth factor - beta) signaling pathway in leukemia.

Build, design, and code a robot using metal and malleable pieces. I use critical thinking to come up with design solutions to increase our success at tournaments. Our team is made up of four people. We are able to gain awards at tournaments. We have won multiple Judges Interview awards and Create awards. We have also won a design award, and an Innovate award. We have gotten these awards at many tournaments we have been to.
