In my undergraduate engineering program, mathematics became a language of choice and my interest in finance escalated when I realized how the powerful arsenal of mathematical tools can be applied to frame optimum strategies.I soon picked up a four month financial markets experience course, where I was responsible for creating, managing and maintaining a real-time simulated portfolio on Bombay Stock Exchange 500 listed companies, by researching and analyzing the establishments fundamentally and technically. With passion for research and innovation, I devised an ultrafiltration membrane incorporating polymers with more efficiency than the membranes currently utilized commercially. Skills like problem-solving and teamwork were instilled in me during this process.I am currently seeking a full time role in a firm with great integrity. In the long run, I wish to bring more transparency to the Indian financial business and learn to apply new age computer technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning to quantify various parameters.
