Hello, my name is Dev, and I graduated from QUT with a degree in Technical Production (Fine Arts) in 2022. During my time in Singapore, I gained valuable experience working for The Show Company, a production firm. While there, my interest in sound production grew steadily.After nearly three years of working, I made the decision to relocate to Australia to further my education in Technical Production. Currently, I am employed part-time as an AV technician at Select Audio Visual.As a Collaborative Audiovisual Technician, I am eager to leverage my troubleshooting skills in a new opportunity. I pride myself on delivering high-quality service and fostering strong client relationships. My background working behind the scenes has instilled in me a deep respect and understanding of the production industry.

During my internship, I had the opportunity to see how a corporate event company works and how different the working style can be from a theatre or concert-based company. Whilst working, I have managed to improve my audio skill and develop my management, communication, and team skills which are essential in this industry. Select Audio Visual has supportive and reliable professionals who allowed me to gain valuable knowledge to improve my skills. What I did during the internship:- Setting up of the equipment- Learned to use audio console- Learned about video equipment (Blackmagic switcher, MDHX)- Assisting the full-time professionals- Worked with industries professionals- Organizing/Placement of the equipment
