An energy transition which creates access and security in an affordable and sustainable way is one of the greatest opportunities of our times. I believe this transition will be accelerated by the interplay of increasingly decarbonised conventional energies with sustainable energies. Our ONE VARO Transformation strategy is doing just this with the steps that we are taking every day since our announcement in 2022. I am privileged to be a part of the extraordinary team at VARO Energy. Their professionalism, collaborative spirit and can-do attitude is inspiring and making a genuine difference to the customers and citizens that we serve. As someone who grew up in India, studied in the US and has lived in the UK and around the world, I now live in Switzerland. The Alps remind me of my childhood in the Himalayas – in Darjeeling, which some of you might know for its famous tea! So, I have come a full circle in some ways! I will – with the help of my colleagues – continue to engage with all of you through this channel as we work towards our common goals.
