KEY ACHIEVEMENTSPlayed a key role in the growth of e.tv (South Africa's 2nd biggest television channel) through strategic scheduling of programming. During my time as GM: Acquisitions and Scheduling - the channels' market share grew by almost 400%. My success in this regard resulted in a rival channel sending a head-hunter to Cape Town in order to lure me away from e.tv.Produced several publicity press kits, one of which was named (by then editor of 'The Star' newspaper) as the most literate and comprehensive pack seen in her 12 years of journalism.In my time spent as a publicity writer and GM: Publicity, my work was often copied (verbatim) by writers/journalists. While working as GM: International Acquisitions, I was working on a big output deal with a major Hollywood Studio for a specific amount of money. Through strategic selections over a three-year period, I was able to save the channel close to US$2m. Both our CEO and the Chairman of the channel's holding company personally thanked me for this achievement.
