1.Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned2.Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed3.Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings4.Assist with other accounting projects5.Prepares company and client tax forms and data while offering tax accounting advice to both clients and internal company departments6.Maintains and updates working knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including new filing practices, deadlines, and any company-specific information7.Prepares tax accruals for company records and accounts8.Corresponds with other departments, including marketing and production, to understand business practices and new projects, and communicates the tax implications of all business practices to senior company managers

1. Manage ledgers and ensure accurate financial record keeping across departments2. Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings3. Maintain digital and physical financial records4. Contact clients and vendors as necessary to ensure accurate and on‑time payments5. Handling petty cash, preparing bills and receipts. 6. Tally data entry including sales, purchase, receipts, payments, bank reconciliation statement, and preparation of debtors / creditors statements.7. Updating tug/barge and transport schedule of daily and monthly8. Assist to apply AA,AD, Arrival and Departure declaration for tug and barge9. Endorses warrants or money orders, prepares account deposit ticket, and deposits money as directed. 10. Inventories office supplies and equipment; prepares and submits orders for purchase11. Performs related work as assigned
