Curaçao Cares is the first of its kind volunteer and project management organization in Curaçao and is an official International affiliate of the Points of Light Handson Network. The National Action Program for Youth Development lays out a strategic vision to achieve positive youth development on the island of Curaçao and stipulates concrete priorities and action steps to be implemented in the coming period (2015-2020). The primary goal is to create more opportunities and possibilities for our children and youth so as to prevent that they become at-risk. The National Action Program for Youth Development was established through a participatory approach: by involving youth, as well as non-profit organizations working with and for youth, the private sector and different government ministries. *Worked with President and Director of Cuba Operations to establish operational plans and strategies for Custom groups*Responsible for program development and program implementation for U.S clients and partners, which included universities, medical institutions, affinity groups.*Strengthened relationships with new and existing Cuban partners across education, health, art and tourism sector to establish people-to-people and educational exchange opportunities *Assisted with developing database of activities and contacts.*Assisted with developing internal work processes for Custom groups department

*Assisted with the organization of the summer fellowship program on minority and human rights in the Netherlands and the first annual international conference "Perspectives and Visions: Diversity and Human Rights". *Guided and advised 22 fellows on final research papers concerning various topics, amongst others citizenship and social cohesion, Dutch refugee & asylum policy, education policy.

*Assisted with legal research on cases of political discrimination and the role of regional fora , such as the Organization of American States (OAS).*Translated to/from Spanish, edited reports and press releases, updated the website, and provided administrative and logistical support for the organization of the 2nd Annual Oslo Freedom Forum.

*Awarded one of approximately 50 U.S fellowship positions to participate in the educational summer program that engages a Trans-Atlantic team of student leaders in the study and work of minority and human rights in France. *Formulated policy recommendation “Politique de la Ville” addressing socio-urban concerns, and gentrification in the suburbs of Paris.
