The National Action Program for Youth Development lays out a strategic vision to achieve positive youth development on the island of Curaçao and stipulates concrete priorities and action steps to be implemented in the coming period (2015-2020). The primary goal is to create more opportunities and possibilities for our children and youth so as to prevent that they become at-risk. The National Action Program for Youth Development was established through a participatory approach: by involving youth, as well as non-profit organizations working with and for youth, the private sector and different government ministries.
