I was introduced to airfreight when I joined one of Singapore’s leading ground handling agents in 2012. Since then, I have been fascinated by how air cargo is transported across the globe.One type of cargo that captured my interest further is Dangerous Goods. The extensive safety requirements and technical expertise involved in transporting these items intrigued me. With over 3,000 articles and substances classified as Dangerous Goods, this area has kept my career engaging, and my passion for learning about their transportation grows with each challenge we overcome daily.I thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge through the training programs I conduct in my current role. It’s deeply satisfying to help others understand the complexities of Dangerous Goods transport and contribute to safety in the industry.Every day is a learning experience, and I see my role as crucial—not just in handling cargo but in protecting lives and property throughout the Dangerous Goods transportation process.
