Reduction of Lead Time in Textile Machinery Manufacturing Industry, a project where the company faces longer lead time and maintaining timely delivery is a challenge for the company. Lead time reduction performed based on accurate time study, visualizing NVA and VA activities through VSM, implemented suitable lean tools like Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Analysis, 5S, and SMED. Identified the awkward posture and performed RULA, REBA, Strength capability and Balance (COP) assessments, followed by recommending changes as per Ergonomic standards. Thereby achieved lead time reduction, improved customer satisfaction and ergonomic work life balance.
