Currently, I am part of the Industrial and Automation team at Bonfiglioli, where I am supporting Industrial Gearbox division. My role involves analyzing customer requirements to select the optimal gearbox solutions for a wide range of industrial applications. By leveraging my expertise, I ensure that each gearbox meets the precise specifications and operational needs of our clients, contributing to their overall efficiency and productivity.

During my tenure here, I worked at Caterpillar India as an onsite employee in the Drive-Train Team, where I was responsible for modeling and detailing with a strong focus on quality to meet the team's requirements. My roles and responsibilities included developing concept models and drawings for NPD and CPI projects involving heavy machinery components and assisting in planning and production. I engaged with automatic transmission components, such as planetary gears, clutches, and other transmission elements, gaining further insights into gears, synchronizers, and shifting mechanisms. Significant project contributions included optimizing a transmission case and manifold by increasing wall thickness to address casting tolerance issues, and developing and implementing an E-Powertrain Modularization Tool to streamline the modeling process by leveraging insights from previously approved design models.

Here, I specialized in developing custom tool and fixture designs for machining components, creating detailed drawings with precise manufacturing specifications. My responsibilities included implementing cost reduction and functional enhancement design improvements, assisting the Quality department in developing inspection and control documents, performing detailed design of manufacturing equipment, and coordinating testing activities with Engineering and Production teams.
