Contributed to the design and manufacturing of various components for the Formula Student car. In particular, I designed and manufactured a new fuel tank with an increased capacity for the car, while ensuring minimal sploshing through splosh analysis. I also worked with a dedicated team to manufacture suspension members, engine mounts, and various tabs and bearings, while reducing weight where possible.In addition, I designed a pull rod suspension system for the 2023 car, which was validated through software to ensure optimal performance, improved suspension characteristics and safety.As part of my responsibilities, I worked with the statics team to help account for project costs for each item/material, along with the cost of the manufacturing procedures. This ensured that the project stayed within budget and that resources were used efficiently.

Contributed to the initial development of a rapid point-of-care diagnostic tool platform for testing an array of hormones resulting in reliable and quantitative data within 30 minutes. By advancing and improving diagnosis and consultation in this area, the goal was to overcome issues associated with fertility and reproduction and make their lives better.My role was to design, develop and test the diagnostic tool. Throughout the project, I ensured that the diagnostic tool met the performance and accuracy requirements set by regulatory agencies. The initial design allowed the company to obtain its first round of initial funding.I also developed strong teamwork and communication skills while collaborating with colleagues across different disciplines.

Contributed to the success of the company through my involvement in various projects that improve efficiency, accessibility, and sustainability. One of my key contributions was my involvement in the digitization of company data, which aimed to make collected information more accessible in the future and reduce the company's paper needs and wastage. Digitalized reports were tested and used by workshop engineers, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.In addition, I produced Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for various turbocharger maintenance processes, which helped standardize and streamline our maintenance operations. This reduced errors, improved safety, and ensured consistency in our maintenance procedures.Lastly, I assisted in the early stages of setting up the ARC stone MES System in the company's push to move to Industry 4.0. This involved identifying key areas of improvement, evaluating new technologies and processes, and collaborating with colleagues across different departments & and clients to implement new systems and processes that increased efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness.
