-managing a full schedule of associates both on and off the sales floor, and ensuring schedules not only meet employees work requirements but also allow the store to stay fully staffed and operational -working alongside other managers to ensure the store is full on inventory and stock, marketing is updated and that all employees on clock are tasked and have a full understanding of said task-training and assisting in training new associates on day to day tasks, what a work day looks like, and all of our policies and procedures following customer interaction, discrimination, staff relations, etc. -having a full understanding of our POS system for sales, as well as our behind the scenes day to day operations such as stock inventory, marketing updates, incoming and outgoing orders and updates within all other 10+ store locations in our region-having frequent meetings with upper level districts such as our district and regional departments regarding the status of our store, quarterly and annual updates, personal performance, as well as the performance of our associates -managing end of day cash deposits into our safe, filing end of day reports into our system, and following all procedures required to empty the safe and transfer it over to brink’s security for deposits -opening and closing the store, ensuring everything is prepared for the start of the business day as well as recovering the floor at the end of the day for close

-ensuring the diners are properly seated and attended to-setting reservations, setting up tables for the next customer, assisting in bussing tables for waitresses-handling a POS system to seat all our diners, enter orders in for the kitchen, and cashing out diners checks after their meals-kitchen prep such as rolling silverware, mopping and sweeping, refilling sides such as soups, chips, and garnishes-greeting diners to the restaurant, taking orders for food and drinks, and running out said orders to tables -having a full understanding and complete memorization of our menu, knowing which entrees have special requirements such as meat temperature, different breads we offer for sandwiches and such, and what sides are available for each plate-having personal skills such as customer service, genuine kindness for all staff and diners, problem solving and patience for our diners and meeting any requirements they may have-multitasking between tables, in-kitchen tasks, and working the host stand
