As a Lead Medical Assistant - Certified at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I work with patients of all age groups in a Family Medicine Clinic, providing quality care and support. I perform various clinical tasks, such as history taking, vitals, injections, EKGs, and venipuncture, and assist with other clinics in the office, such as podiatry and the same day care clinic. I also manage the inventory and ordering of all supplies, medications, and vaccines for all three clinics, ensuring efficiency and compliance.In addition to my clinical duties, I have completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science at The Ohio State University, with a minor in History. I am passionate about learning and advancing my knowledge and skills to advance in my career. I was honored to receive the Values in Action Award in February 2021, after being nominated for my work and commitment to the COVID-19 vaccination and testing centers. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team, and contributing to the mission and vision of OSUWMC.
