I started my squash career at the age of 14 at Parktown Boys High school. Since then, I have progressed to coaching juniors and adults of all skill levels. My passion for the game led me to the United States to develop the game at grassroots as well as serve the community. This journey also transitioned me to working with the Elite Yale teams. I have been coached by Craig van der Wath (7 times world champion), Mike Tootill (Top 10 Men SA Squash), Gary Plumbstead (Top 10 Men SA Squash) and Mike Beste, each of whom has different coaching styles which has helped me form my own unique style coupled with my studies of human movement. Having studied the field of Health Sciences, I utilize the information I gained in my coaching, and utilize the cognitive psycho-motor systems as well as the developmental models of various ages ranges to cater to the needs of the individual athletes. I use both a scientific and practical method of coaching.I am a senior mentor for marking and refereeing and served as the Chairperson of Technical Officiating for Central Gauteng. I also served on the Squash SA executive as well as the Squash SA refereeing sub-committee.I have coached squash at various schools as well as individual/personalized coaching and have accumulated countless hours of experience.
