I managed product families for up to 11 concurrent customers to ensure a successful introduction and supply of their product to market.I successfully on-boarded a project valued over $2M, consisting of 19 concurrent PCBAs and Chassis assemblies that we built, tested and inspected to IPC class 3 specifications. This project involved planning and overseeing the product development of all 19 products, providing 24hr customer and production support to ensure all timelines were met, developing and implementing new processes, resolving any manufacturing issues and updating processes to prevent their re-occurrence. During the introduction stage of this new product line, I played a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation of 2 new technologies and developing their SOPs (nano-coating and an automatic routing machine), overseeing the implementation of 4 testing solutions, and 1 software solution. At the completion of each of the 19 Alpha runs, I provide a quality report detailing every aspect of the manufacturing process, our success rates at each stage, and our next steps to improve quality and efficiency. This required meticulous documentation and organization since the reports included documents recorded and collected at various stages of the manufacturing process.I developed a system to aggregate, clean, and visualized key quality and efficiency metrics in dashboard format using VBA, excel, SQL and Tableau. This allowed me to analyze the data to determine which products were struggling to achieve the desired quality level. I spear-headed hundreds of root-cause and corrective action projects with various departments to improve quality or efficiency on the manufacturing line.

As a member of the component engineering department, my primary focus was on the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the department. I developed an interactive dashboard to display key metrics on a daily basis to provide our team with timely data to inform decisions and set priorities. I researched and implemented a more accurate technique for removing moisture from components to avoid component damage during soldering. By using a high precision scale, components could be weighed to determine the extent of moisture contained within. Should the weight indicate the presence of moisture, the component would be baked and re-weighed until the weight was within acceptable levels. This technique provided our engineering team with greater confidence in signing off on the use of moisture-exposed components.
