Workforce Training Specialist Taaccct Grant

Coordinate project workshops, demonstrations, and other educational activities. Set up and participate in meetings and other activities related to MCC's Alternative Fuel Grants, as required. Facilitate operations, such as securing bids, purchasing, communications with industry partners, surveys, etc. Provide industry research, including securing and communicating information on products, providers, training, and trends. Work with the internal project team and Evaluator, develop systems and tools for project research, such as data on vehicle performance, maintenance, and related costs; pre-post assessments, etc. Work with appropriate MCC staff and faculty, develop guidelines and systems for tracking training participants and comparison cohort members' demographics, retention, completion,credentials, employment, income, employment retention, etc. Coordinate with Military and Veterans Support services, implement guidance documents and processes for military training, military work experience, competencies, and or mastery related to the Transportation sector. Coordinate with MCC staff, faculty and industry to identify and establish opportunities for cooperative education, internships,apprenticeships, and employment related to Manufacturing and Transportation. Coordinate with appropriate college staff and faculty to support student employment, such as job fairs, employer presentations, and job shadowing. Solicit, support, and maintain industry partnerships relevant to Transportation and Manufacturing. Provide information necessary for project reporting, including requested internal updates and regular(quarterly and annual) reporting to the U.S. Department of Labor.
