As a mechanic at Nevada Gold Mines, I am responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on various types of mining equipment and machinery for both surface and underground mining operations. I currently work for the largest gold producing complex in North America. I have over 8 years of experience in the mining/construction industry. I have developed strong leadership, coordination, troubleshooting and repair skills, as well as knowledge of safety and environmental standards and regulations. I enjoy working with a team of dedicated and skilled professionals, who share the same mission of delivering high-quality and sustainable mining operations. I am passionate about learning new technologies and techniques that can improve the efficiency and reliability of the equipment and processes. My goal is to continue to grow and contribute to the success of any team I am a part of.
