Current• Operational excellence including project technical success, effective hiring and people management in line with company and group culture.• Adding values to business proposals and quotes within mechanical to increase win rate.• Effective customer interfacing and presentation within discipline.• Cross functional responsibilities inclusive of focal FM or Project Management roles.• Driving respective functional group continuous improvement inclusive of technical advancement.• Assess priority of new projects with input from directors and project managers to ensure projects are challenging, promote our industries, or advance our technology.• Facilitate acquisition and allocation of capital resources (tools and equipment) to ensure high productivity among staff.• Provide input on feasibility, cost, schedules, capabilities, resource availability, and contractual obligations for proposal development to ensure competitive estimates to customers.• Participate in marketing and sales activities including initial customer contact, presentations, and technical and business discussions to enhance the representation of the group’s and company’s capabilities.• Business Development - Supports the customer development process in winning new business and is directly responsible for developing repeat business with previous and/or current customers.• Work-sharing Support - Accountable for proactively identifying work packages or opportunities that work could be shared by dedicated design center. Works effectively with the xDC Project Manager to drive the work-sharing opportunity to design center while balancing the revenue, charge % and technical success of projects.• Manages customers’ expectations regarding all aspects of the project. This includes setting expectations for the challenges in developing products and test systems. Expectations shall also be managed regarding project scope, schedule, budget, risks, deliverables, and any changes to the original proposal.
