Senior Manager Performance
CurrentAs a Senior Manager, I oversee and manage Telco operations from Financial Performance management perspective across Iraq, Tunisia, and Myanmar with total revenue of USD 1.6 billion. In this role, I coordinate with OG and the subsidiary for the review of commercial offerings, investment opportunities, contracts, Board approval, product pricing, and provide recommendations. I also Implement one point contact for business plans of subsidiaries to ensure hassle-free inquiries and deliver an end-to-end view to customer support. I collaborate proactively with Group Strategy team during target setting exercise and conduct detail review of business plans, highlight areas of concern, and improvement to the management. I am responsible for coordinating with subsidiaries for queries raised in the management committee review and reviewing forecasts submitted by subsidiaries and pointing out any deviations from the annual plan. It is worth mentioning that I evaluate subsidiary's performance monthly / quarterly, highlight areas of concern, and follow up with subsidiary for implementation of action points. Furthermore, I provide support to OpCo Board and perform a review of the board book, as well as delivered feedback to the governance team and participated in pre-board meetings.My key successes in this role are :• Facilitated in divestment projects by greatly involving in the exit of Jordan, Saudi, Pakistan and Philippines operations.• Superintended all financial aspects of the exit deal of Daraz venture by Alibaba comprising USD 150 million.• Completed revamping of current policies and procedures, leading to standardised definition of various Capex phases based on business drivers, establishment of framework for the evaluation of Capex, and implementation of the Capex Management policy for all 8 operations in OG.
