As a Senior Manager, I oversee and manage Telco operations from Financial Performance management perspective across Iraq, Tunisia, and Myanmar with total revenue of USD 1.6 billion. In this role, I coordinate with OG and the subsidiary for the review of commercial offerings, investment opportunities, contracts, Board approval, product pricing, and provide recommendations. I also Implement one point contact for business plans of subsidiaries to ensure hassle-free inquiries and deliver an end-to-end view to customer support. It is worth mentioning that I evaluate subsidiary's performance monthly / quarterly, highlight areas of concern, and follow up with subsidiary for implementation of action points. Furthermore, I provide support to OpCo Board and perform a review of the board book, as well as delivered feedback to the governance team and participated in pre-board meetings.My key successes in this role are :• Facilitated in divestment projects by greatly involving in the exit of Jordan, Saudi, Pakistan and Philippines operations.• Superintended all financial aspects of the exit deal of Daraz venture by Alibaba comprising USD 150 million.• Completed revamping of current policies and procedures, leading to standardised definition of various Capex phases based on business drivers, establishment of framework for the evaluation of Capex, and implementation of the Capex Management policy for all 8 operations in OG.

During my tenure as a Group Manager for Wi-tribe Limited, I was accountable for Managing the financial operations of Wi-tribe group with a total investment size of USD 300 million. It was I who prepared the holding budget, evaluated business plans, performed budget and performance reviews of subsidiaries, and provided remarks on highlighted areas. I also contributed in consultations related to Philippines investment, including structuring of funding through SPV's, tracking investments, vetting board book on related agenda, review of proposed resolutions, shareholder loan agreements, local compliance of SPV's, and arranging fund to the subsidiaries after detailed review of cash flow forecasts. In this role, I standardized reporting structure among the subsidiaries and formulated accounting policies for the Wi-tribe group and monitored accounting activities of Wi-tribe holdings. Moreover, I ensured compliance with HR/procurement policies by reviewing payroll and vendor payments and confirmed accurate and timely consolidation of quarterly and yearly end accounts in compliance with IFRS, as well as reviewed financial statements of subsidiaries and dispatched them to the board for approval.My key accomplishments for this role are :• Delivered comments to management and submitted reports to the Ooredoo team on deadlines by performing a detailed review of reports from subsidiaries.• Facilitated the Wi-tribe team in transitioning to reporting in COGNOS by showcasing excellence team-building skills.• Streamlined and structured the reporting process on time by showcasing excellence in quality.• Planned and executed the relocation of the Wi-tribe office in Bahrain to Qatar, including new office furnishing and fit-outs.
