CurrentAs BIM-Team Lead, My role is creating high-quality, information-rich 3D models for all discipline projects. Responsibilities shall align with Phases as belowPre-Construction Phase:• BIM Document Management: Establishing and maintain a system for BIM document standardization, including templates, file naming conventions, and version control. Ensure efficient BIM document input and output information flow throughout the project lifecycle.• Clash Detection and Resolution: Identifying and addressing potential clashes between PEB steel elements, lighting components, cladding systems, and other building elements within the Revit model. This ensures seamless integration during fabrication and on-site assembly.Review and Coordination of BIM Models:• Conducting comprehensive reviews of 3D models created by BIM Modelers/Design Engineers for all discipline projects.• Verifying the accuracy of model elements, including dimensions, member sizes, connections, material specifications, and alignment with ISO 19650 data requirements.• Identifying and communicating any discrepancies or potential constructability issues to the BIM Modeler/ Design Engineers for correction.• Collaborating with the BIM Modeler/ Design Engineers to resolve complex modelling challenges or integrate design changes efficiently.Support for BIM Modelling:• As a BIM Lead, Reviewing and checking elements, the BIM Modeler/Design Engineers remains primarily responsible for creating the 3D models but during critical times, providing more hands-on assistance with modelling tasks to ensure project deadlines are met.• Assisting with technical inquiries related to BIM software (Revit, Navis works) and modelling best practices.• Reviewing and approving model components before they are integrated into the main project model, ensuring consistency and quality.• Participating in design reviews to identify potential modelling challenges early in the process and suggesting solutions.
