Devan was drawn to the business world through the everyday interactions he had growing up with parents operating a small business. He saw first hand the ups and downs of business life and it was this experience that drove Devan to pursue a degree in accounting so that he might be able to assist business owners on charting the upside of being a business owner.Fast forward and Devan is a Principal at MGI Dobbyn Carafa Chartered Accountants with knowledge across a number of public practice service offerings, including:- Business Advisory;- Self Managed Super Funds; and- Tax Consulting and Compliance.Devan works closely with his clients to build on their business strategy, planning for the future as well as attending to maintenance of ongoing local and federal based tax compliance obligations. Increasingly Devan is engaged in the Cryptocurrency space and has hands on experience with the associated business and tax implications of holding native investments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, mining of the same, staking and the emerging application of smart contracts/NFT's on the Ethereum and other competing networks.
