Senior Account Manager
CurrentManage a portfolio of Harrisonburg and New River Valley clients. -Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned client portfolio, working to meet/exceed their needs and expectations and develop positive, long-term relationships to include potential business development.-Ensure and execute proper planning in advance of all events in assigned portfolio including staffing, mapping, deployment, timelines, briefing documents, advance information sharing, and any operational/equipment needs.-Remain cognizant of event budgetary factors and work to ensure that client staffing expectations are met while working within RMC Events expected cost function expectations and restraints.-Complete post-event administrative duties, including invoicing, payroll, and other reports for internal requests within the organization and when required by the client. Lead the Harrisonburg and New River Valley Events Team. -Recruit, supervise, train, and mentor one full-time Account Manager who assists with the management of the Harrisonburg and New River Valley portfolio. -Manage and schedule, over 120 part-time, at-will employees at various position levels such as event staff, supervisors, and event managers. -Monitor and correct staff performance and/or adherence to company policy and training while working on-site. Plan and manage events. -Establish and execute comprehensive operational plans for events to include a complete assessment of staffing, organizational, communication, and logistical needs.-Manage event day operation execution as lead representative for RMC Events on-site, ensuring complete delivery of service to the guest, the client, and part-time staff members.-Provide excellent, timely, and thorough communication to part-time staff scheduled for events within the scope of responsibilities, including times, directions, travel details, attire, and expectations.
