Working as a Lead Engineer - mechanical in avionics domain. Primarily associated with video and connected systems and optical systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:• NPD: Understand/Modify Product specification document Through CONFLUENCE/ JIRA, prepare design concepts and renders in KEYSHOT, CORELDRAW. Prepare exploded views and kinematic presentation of product in SIEMENS SOLIDEDGE.• FEA: Model real life linear and nonlinear problems in FEA tools such as Ansys and Abaqus. Gather/ formulate data pertaining to the analysis through communication with material suppliers, vendor, physical testing and data mapping perform analysis to validate the design for vibrations, acoustics, thermal, optical, kinematic, under stress, static and dynamic loading performance.• Modeling and Calculations: 3D design and 2D detailing in primary software SIEMENS SOLIDEDGE, PTC CREO. Perform TOLERANCE STACKUP ANALYSIS, GD&T.• Design of parts in Sheet metal, High pressure die cast, Rubber and injection mold.• Rapid Prototyping: SLS, SLA, FDM, Vacuum casting, Hand molding.• Sampling/Stabilization: Perform detailed inspection of samples with use of sophisticated equipment such as micrometer, height gauge, transparency meter, thermal chamber. Visit manufacturing units and guide to stabilize manufacturing processes such as injection molding and die casting processes.• Inter departmental Communication: Provide and gather necessary data required for development of productto various functioning departments.
