Working with the strategic partners for the evaluation of the different products and solutions.Working on the different different electronic solutions like MicroGrid, Hybrid Controllers and different technology like fuel cell and Electrolyser.Driving culture change and process improvement ideas to achieve RFT and OTD goal of the engineering functions. Providing support to the technical programme management team for the driving technical programme in the engineering function.

Cummins PDI team offers end to end genset solutions to the data center customers. Genset is one of the critical equipment for the data center customer. Genset as an equipment and its complete system is critical for the customer to achieve Tier 3 or Tier 4 Uptime certifications at facility level.As a PDI sales leader, I have got chance to work with the global customers like Microsoft, Google, AWS etc. and domestic customers like CtrlS. During this role, I have got chance to attend technical discussions with many customer. Got chance to lead some of technical discussion with global customers. There was good achievement by closing two orders during this role.In this role, I have got chance to work on the electrical design system for the data centers. The critical aspect of the project was customised container for the DG set. Container was designed for the many critical systems like DG set, DG set accessories and Electrical panel. Containers are compliant for the 75 dBA noise level at 1 meter from container wall.Product range offered to the customer is 2000 kVA to 3750 kVA and got opportunity to work on each rating with different customer requirement. During this role, executed 7 X 2500 kVA DG set project for CtrlS customer. The critical aspect of this project was installation of gensets was on 3rd, 4th and 8th floor.

Greaves has power generation products from 5 kVA to 500 kVA and 1010 kVA. The business shifted from product selling to solution selling. Solution selling starts from the concept of the product to product life management. In this major focus was selling the MEGA range (1010 kVA to 2500 kVA). My role was to prepare complete initial documentation for the selling for MEGA range, training and field support to the sales team, and preparation of the techno commercial offer for the complete projects. Additionally, I was supporting customer and consultant interactions to manage and pitch the MEGA products.In this role, I was leading the team with different skills like customer support, design, execution, testing, and commissioning team. We have created processes and a support system for the sales team which has benefited in pitching products and solutions to the customer and consultants. This has been reflected in the business by an increase in orders, more revenue, and a small impact on the margins. We have received orders like 6 MW DG SITC from HATSUN Agro products, 5 MW DG SITC from VTS, Bangalore, and many more.Received many installation orders from RIL, and JIO for small ratings which have helped to increase the revenue and margins. We were supporting customized products for the defense and GEM requirements. This has helped to manage government customers. Conducted many training sessions for the dealers and sales team on MEGA products with USP. In this role, I was responsible for the P & L of the Installation and design services. Created vendor base for the Installation services across India. Designed complex mechanical and electrical systems including 35 meter stacks with support system and synchronisation panels. I was part of the railway application engineering team. In this role, I supported many rail applications like DEMU (Diesel Electric Multiple Units), Power Cars, Silent Power Car, Shunting Locomotives, DETC (Diesel Electric Tower Car), and many more.In this role, the key responsibility is to prepare a complete proposal/tender response for each of these applications. Critical discussions with customers to understand critical aspects of the application. Detailed discussions with customers on deviations and compliances. Support to sales team for the preparation of commercial offers. Preparation of technical documentation like a tender response, preliminary BOM, technical datasheets, deviation and compliance reports, and preliminary drawings. After receipt of the order, the key responsibility is to have a detailed application discussion with the customer. Preparation of detailed drawings with Mechanical and Electrical integration points, BOM, and detailed engineering documentation for approval from the customer. Another key responsibility is to integrate the system with customer application, testing, and commissioning at the customer end. Conducting IQA and commissioning reports for future reference.In this role, I was part of critical projects like 1600 HP DEMU. In this project, Cummins has offered a new engine for the railway application with IGBT-based electric systems. Silent Power Car, in this project the objective is to reduce the noise level of power for a better experience for passengers. Worked on different forward integration projects like DETC where we initiated different proposals to supply a complete DETC drive system to the customer.

In India, Cummins has introduced new gas gensets and started offering complete SITC (Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning) solutions to customers. This includes the design of the power plants. In this role, I have worked in different roles like Design Engineer, Project Manager, and Execution Engineer, and demonstrated various skills. As a Design engineer, I was responsible for designing different electrical panels for the gas-based CPP (Captive Power Plants) projects. I have worked with different requirements like integration of gas gensets with existing electrical systems and new systems. There are many design and integration requirements to integrate new genset systems with existing electrical systems without affecting their normal operations.In the Project Manager / Execution Engineer role, I have executed many gas-based power plant projects. The value of the project varies from 1 Cr to 30 Crs. This role has helped me to understand the mechanical system integration and design requirements of the power plants. Many projects are successfully executed and commissioned for many customers. Additionally, I was supporting the customer and service team for operations. There are many training sessions conducted for the customers and service team for Genset operations, Electrical Integrations, and critical aspects of projects.I have worked on different fuels like LNG, PNG, Bio-Gas, Producer Gas, and Diesel. I have commissioned more than 30 MW of gas gensets across the country. There are many gas projects executed with heat recovery systems like exhaust/ jacket water chillers, boilers, etc.Some of the Projects are 6 MW Gas-Based Power Plant with Chilling Machines at TetraPak, Chakan.4 MW Gas-Based Power Plant with Chiller and Boiler at Supreme Petro, Nagothane.8 MW Gas-Based Power Plant at Honda Siel Cars, Noida.

Quippo was one the leading gas genset rental company in India. The business model of Quippo was the design, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the gas-based genset. These gensets are offered with rental contracts to the different industries. These gensets were operated and maintained by different departments of the Quippo. Containerized gensets were manufactured by Quippo and it was installed at the site within 3 days of SLA. This was the USP of the quippo. I was responsible for the design of the electrical system for the containerized gas-based genset and the auxiliary system for the gas genset. This includes customer interface, synchronization of the same and different make of gensets, grid synchronization, and interface design for the container. Worked with the suppliers like Deutz, Cummins, Woodward, and many more. I was responsible for supporting the manufacturing of containerized gas-based gensets in the factory, Installation at the site, and operation support to the team. Was closely working with the mechanical team to define all interface and integration requirements of different systems to ensure performance and seamless operations of the genset. The design and interface of the system should align with the company SLA of installation of the genset at the site with in 3 days of the genset reaching the site. Was responsible for the seamless integration of an electrical system with the customer's existing system with minimum changes or modifications in the system as well as operations.Successfully delivered different projects like 8 MW Installation at Honda Siel Car, 7 MW Installation at Sejal Glass and many more.

The company takes care of the Design, Installation, testing, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of the power grid, sub-stations, and equipment.Got selected by the entrance examination organized by the company after the immediate completion of my studies.Was responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 220 kV substation and 3 nos of downstream substation of 66 kV as a shift engineer. 220 kV Paneli substation was a unique substation as there was a direct line from the Wind generation. Was responsible for managing outages during maintenance activities and ensuring line operations with all kinds of safeties. Managing the operational staff of the substation.Was part of the condition monitoring activities at substations and supervising the maintenance and cleaning activities of different power lines. Supervised maintenance activity of the 220 kV, 66 kV Substations, 220 kV lines, and 66 kV lines. Managing daily and monthly power consumption and loss reports.Created an automated computerized system for the generation of daily and monthly reports by capturing different readings of meters. This has helped to increase accuracy in report generation and reduced manual errors. It was appreciated by the Executive Engineer and Deputy engineer of the substation.It has helped to improve power system knowledge, substation operations, different reporting systems of the power grid, operations of HV breakers, Isolators, and precautionary actions of HT operations.Have gone through the HV components and operations at ABB during this role.

This role includes direct communication with customers, a detailed understanding of requirements, and the Preparation of preliminary details for the sales team for the commercial offers, detailed design, discussion with the manufacturing team, change management, and design improvement. Additionally support to software team in designing PLC logic, testing and approvals from customers, installation, and commissioning support.
