In addition to above, I also have worked on various aspects of Credit Risk Management which revolves around strengthening internal Credit policies and processes, rating models as well as preparing bank for migration to advanced Basel approaches (IRB) (PD/LGD/EAD)My key responsibilities are as follows – Pre-SanctionInitiation of Proposals – Evaluating the proposals in depth, preparing financial models and assessing historical financials, performing sensitivity analysis on projections factoring worst-case scenarios, analyzing critical documents such as concession agreements, Independent Engineers’ report and any other relevant informationLiaisoning with Relationship teams and engage in discussion with clients for structuring the transaction by stipulating covenants/security conditions to ensure risk mitigation for the bankPreparing recommendation note along with determining the internal rating using ICRA (Moody’s subsidiary) model for the proposal and presenting the entire proposal to sanctioning committee for approval. Credit Portfolio Analytics:• Construction Sector Analysis – Identified the key drivers, growth opportunities & various threats pertaining to construction sector. Also analyzed bank’s lending portfolio in construction sector and prepared the managerial report on same• Rating/Exposure Review - Analyzed financial results (FY09-10) of all public listed clients of the bank.
