I am a Chemical Engineer who graduated from the University of Cincinnati that is willing to take risks and expand my knowledge on different engineering topics. My experience working at a research laboratory as a high school student in conjunction with experiences that I have encountered at the University of Cincinnati have led me to have an interest in the field of Materials science. I have worked extensively with polymers and working with graphene to improve battery technology. I am currently working on creating a composite to make a 3D printed CNT/TPU water filtration system.Interested in processing engineering, research and development, production engineering, nanotechnology, and the chemical/petroleum industry.

Laboratory Research AssistantCincinnati Children'S Hospital Medical Center Apr 2021 - Aug 2022UsWhile working at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, I have fabricated coumarin-6 loaded PLG microparticles using a single emulsion, solvent evaporation technique. After creating the particles, I analyzed microparticle size using light microscopy and ImageJ and microparticle yield and fabricated PLA/PCL patches loaded with varying concentrations of coumarin-6 PLG particles using a phase inversion technique. The patches were then characterized by observing the impact of coumarin-6 loaded PLG particles on patch shape memory, degradation, and water permeability. At this moment in time, we are working on a publication of our results. -
