Devan took his experience, intuition, and operational knowledge in both industry and military to find less expensive and more effective solutions to legacy guidance systems . The industry experience that drove Devan to join such an early stage startup came from performing in both a business and product development role at Sparkcognition Government Systems. Devan holds a patent for a Multilingual Natural Language Processing Contextual Search algorithm for large language data parsing meant to serve the intelligence community that he created over a 6 month span during his time at SGS.More of Devan's experience came from his employment at Gothams to support operations with one of their largest clients in the fight against Covid-19. The associated company, Curative Inc, was the fastest growing Biotechnology Startup of 2020 and 2021 reaching over 6500 employees and $1B in revenue in less than a year. Devan played a major role in the creation and implementation of policies, training, and compliance for operational safety, company wide. He also oversaw solutions and strategy for the safety and well being of over 5000 plus employees nationwide.Devan served in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Psychological Operations specialist at a Tactical Psyop Company under 7th Psychological Operations Group. There he deployed to Guatemala to support humanitarian efforts alongside the Guatemalan Military.Devan first entered military service as an active duty sailor in the United States Navy where he gained a plethora of experience both in large scale military operations, combat and intense volatile events visible to the world stage during his 2016 deployment to the Middle Eastern and European areas of operation . Devan also attended the Defense Language Institute in Monterey California where he studied Persian Farsi.
