As a Data Engineer with a Master's degree in Computer Science, I am passionate about designing and implementing elegant solutions for data-driven problems. I have experience in various domains, such as health care, artificial intelligence, and pharmaceuticals, where I have significantly contributed to the organization and field. I believe all data tells a story and I am excited to find out what the moral of that story is. I’ve been passionate about research in the field of Computer Science and have pursed research for over three years now; currently I am working with the InDeX Lab at UIC. I have made a significant contribution to the field of Big Data and published in the Annals of Data Science, Springer. Part of the reason I mention my research is because it enables me to be an active learner which poses many benefits. My work with the design of object-oriented languages gives me a strong understanding of the underlying logical and semantic principles of any object-oriented language. This combined with my certification as an Oracle Certified Java Programmer and extensive experience with Python enables me to design, evaluate, engineer, and implement robust and efficient solutions. One thing of note is, having worked with pharmaceutical and healthcare companies I am great at maintaining data standards whether it be cleaning, modelling or security and I also am familiar with HIPAA law standards.
