An ardent supporter of structured inclusive growth with Master’s in Sociology and currently pursuing a certificate course in CSR from Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), I have been associated with my field of work for 6 years. The fact that the ethos of the development sector lies in collaboration not competition has always resonated with me. From working in the communication vertical where I shouldered the responsibilities of spreading the awareness of the cause, collaborating with third-party and researching on the emerging trends of the non-profit to promote their programs to evaluating the impacts of the programs and market research, my job has so trained me in diverse areas of this dynamic and people-oriented sector. With each endeavour, I cannot thank my civil services preparation journey enough as it has led me here and encouraged me to be a part of social initiatives that promise to bring positive change in the society. My work in consulting taught me how by providing structured voice to the voiceless through evaluation and reporting fosters the environment where even the most marginalised gets growth and development opportunities. I see myself as a highly dedicated, analytical and meticulous individual. Outside my work in my spare-time I enjoy reading a lot and I am a self-confessed movie buff. Here, I am a supporter of the philosophy that art is the reflection of society and vice-versa. Narratives that surround us builds our values.
