As a Finance and Operations Associate in our Mumbai office, some of my responsibilities are as under:- Review and confirm the Net Asset Value (NAV) released by the Australian fund services and upload the unit price for the wholesale and retail class of the India Avenue Equity Fund (IAEF).- Understand Fund and Portfolio Manager performance by preparing holding reports for the fund and the portfolio managers. - Communicate executed trades for the fund with the Australian Fund services team and also enter the same in NeoLink for confirmation with the local custodian.- Confirm the fund received in the fund with the local custodian.- Write a thematic report in the monthly Factsheet of the fund.

- Studied existing competitors for mutual fund distributors in mumbai - Banks and NBFCs- Researched the existing PMS and AIF funds in the market - equity, debt, real estate- Understood the investment amount, time horizon, returns, risk, different investment models and asset allocation, taxation of returns of different kinds of PMS- Empaneled with 4 Asset Management Companies for PMS distribution - Researched National Pension Scheme which is sponsored by the Government of India - Also assisted in the hiring process of the company

Paraplanner (The role primarily dealt with insurance and retirement planning) - - Formulated recommendation reports for new savings and lump sum investment schemes for expatriates living in Singapore - Obtained and compared life insurance and health insurance quotes from different providers and executed application for six clients - Executed switches and dealing trades for savings and lump sum investment plans held by clients respectively in order to rebalance their portfolios from time to time- Developed an excel template to calculate savings needed by an individual on his retirement - Worked closely with the business admin team to restructure their filing system and go paperless
