As a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley, I teach and mentor students on Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory. I am also pursuing my Master's degree in Development Practice (MDP) at the Goldman School of Public Policy, where I learn to apply interdisciplinary and evidence-based approaches to address complex development challenges. Before joining UC Berkeley, I worked as a Research Associate at Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB, on a project funded by the Swedish Research Council. The project aimed to understand the portfolio of risks that rural Himalayan communities face due to climate change, and how they adapt through institutional networks and self-organized responses. I contributed to data collection, cleaning, processing, and analysis using Qualtrics, R, and Python, and co-authored two publications on the findings. With a background in Development Studies and Economics, I have four years of experience in the public policy space. I am skilled in impact evaluation, RCTs, linear regression, qualitative and quantitative research methods, and statistical data analysis tools like R, Stata, and Python. I am passionate about making a positive impact through my research work and applying my skills and knowledge to real-world problems.
