As a Design and Construction Leader, I play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the design and construction process for various projects across APAC & Japan. Leading multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while fostering innovation and collaboration. Responsible to provide leadership & expertise that is instrumental in delivering exceptional projects that meet the needs of clients and communities while pushing the boundaries of design and construction excellence. Act as primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including Business stakeholders , government agencies, and community members.

In my current role, I am responsible to drive excellence in delivery of Construction Management Projects across our different locations in India.

NELSON is a full service Architecture and Interior Design consultancy group headquartered in US and spread globally with its offices in 40 global locations. The firm deals with the end-to-end design consultancy, turnkey solutions, Real Estate optimization & strategy development & mapping of real estate portfolio across different locations. I head the Business Development for NELSON India and support the company’s aggressive growth plans in all three locations ( Delhi, Bangalore & Mumbai) . In addition to this role, I am still continuing my role as Executive Director for South India region and manage the operations for our Bangalore office. My responsibilities include resource planning & project delivery monitoring for NELSON India projects and and business developments efforts (lead hunting , farming account management, Strategic planning for new market penetration, market and competitive analysis, partner development and creative management).

I head the India operations & business development for NELSON India and support company’s aggressive growth plans. My responsibilities include resource planning & project delivery monitoring for NELSON India projects and and business developments efforts (lead hunting , farming account management, Strategic planning for new market penetration, market and competitive analysis, partner development and creative management).Had the unique oppurtunity to start the operations for a branch office in Bangalore, India.This involved starting a local self sustained studio with a team of designers to deliver design & design build project across south India.As the head of location, responsibilities included scouting for new business, providing design solutions, project managment , seamless delivery and efficient execution of projects.As operations Head of the Bangalore Branch, executed business development and project delivery for complete southern region and managed regions across India.Management of projects from pre-design through post construction phases.Managed and administered multiple contracts, including contractor and various vendors involved with the Design Build projects.Engaged with the various designers across global locations to produce detailed design documents to meet the design intent. Managed quality and schedule control, cost control and budget management during the design, construction and post-construction phases of the project

In Oct 2007, I Joined NELSON Planning and Design Pvt Ltd as a Business Development Manager when the company was in amidst of planning a change from a KPO to full service design studio for India based projects.As an integral part of the team that led this transformation, I was responsible for networking, exploring new markets for the company across India and ensuring market penetration across various cities.Was awarded employee of year (Yr 2008) for bringing in the first hospitality project with-in a few months of joining the organization. This achievement enabled the company to include hospitality design & services as part of portfolio of service offerrings.Was promoted to Associate Director to handle the operations of the design studio in addition to the role of leading strategic partnership and business development.Worked with Senior Management to help grow the studio multi-fold in a span of few years.
