Worked on the project ‘Visualizing CP Lab data on HMI remotely’ under theIndustrial Automation domain using Turck HMI + PLC programming on Codesys platform.

A two-month remote internship focused on applying ML in Smart Building Automation. Conducted data analysis and preparation for a 50,000 ft² retail store dataset with multiple zones. Integrating environmental factors (temperature, humidity, CO2 concentration, lighting, occupancy) from sensors, outdoor temperatures and weather forecasts into custom zone-specific models. Employed Matplotlib and Seaborn for visual analysis and developed predictive models for indoor conditions using Decision Tree Regressor while optimizing performance through hyperparameter tuning. Researched adaptive control algorithms such as Reinforcement Learning (RL), LSTM Networks and Hidden Markov Model (HMM) for modeling occupancy patterns in dynamic environments.

Member of Team Matroid for Smart India Hackathon 2020, organized by the MHRD, Govt. of India under the patronage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Developed a mobile application to address the challenge posed by the ‘Airports Authority of India’ using IoT-based RFID technology to optimize airport staff allocation and minimize passenger dwell time. Built and used a Logistic Regression model to forecast future dwell times, notifying authorities upon exceeding predefined thresholds and integrated graphical visualization of dwell time and footfall for enhanced analysis within the app.Competed in the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon organized from 1st -3rd August 2020 and emerged as National Winners with a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh INR.

Team CON-SOL-E 4.0 comprising of undergraduate students of Institute of Technology, Nirma University won the Gold Cup at the 5th Edition of Mitsubishi Electric Cup held at BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore during February 13-15, 2020 along with a cash prize of INR 1 lakh and a paid trip to Japan. The team built a machine called TAB-INS-PACK, a tablet inspection and packaging solution developed using Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation components, cloud-based software, machine vision and industrial internet of things. - Specialized in Ladder Logic for programming automation components for precise control of diverse input-output processes.- Contributed to development of a robust medicine tablet inspection system for evaluating medicine tablets’ defects using image processing techniques and deep learning, focusing on shape, size or color. Integrated high-quality cameras from Bassler with OpenCV for real-time analysis of both top and bottom surfaces of tablets. Implemented image processing techniques to identify specific defects. Applied data augmentation techniques to expand the training dataset and successfully built an Inception v3 model for defect detection, achieving an accuracy of 87%.
