My responsibilities include designing and analysis of Transmission System of All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) as per the guidelines of BAJA SAE India. I, along with my team, choose the type of transmission and design the gearbox of the vehicle ensuring the most efficient performance of the vehicle.

I am the member of RC Plane Designing team in which we design RC aircrafts to serve various purposes. I design and analyze the different components of aircraft in software like SOLIDWORKS and XFLR5. I perform the aerodynamic analysis of complete plane and ensure that the plane has best possible efficiency and endurance. I, along with my team, also manufacture the various parts of plane such as wings (including flaps and ailerons), fuselage, tail, fins, elevators, rudder etc. and assemble them accompanying the avionics. I participate in various competitions held by IITs and other organizations representing our college and currently I also have managerial role in the club.

I am the member of Team BLUESTREAK 10.0 of ASME NIT Rourkela Student Chapter. I am in the Drivetrain subsystem where we design, analyze and manufacture the drivetrain (chain and sprocket drive) of Human Powered Vehicle (HPV). I, along with my team, first design and analyze the drivetrain in CAD software and then manufacture it keeping in mind the overall efficiency of the vehicle and guidelines of the Human Powered Vehicle Challenge (HPVC).

I am a Mentor at Institute Counseling services (ICS), NIT Rourkela. I mentor and escort the freshers to ensure that they have a smooth transition from school to college life. I help and guide them in academic, mental, emotional, social and financial issues. I make sure that my mentees and I have a good bond, and they feel free to share all their problems to me. I try to help my mentees in whatever capacity possible to help them with their current problems and also make them ready and equipped to overcome problems in future.

Learnt about the different units in a coal based thermal power plant such as turbine, boiler, ash handling plant, coal handling plant etc. and these work together to produce electricity. Also got an insight about the transmission and distribution of the electricity produced.
