I believe in growth and Personal Development. I started as a cleaner and I gained knowledge from my mentors and peers. Jean-Guy from GDI taught me a lot at GDI, many nights I would follow him around and learn the craft out of my curiosity. I eventually became the supervisor for the special team on the whole campus including 5 buildings on any given night. Everything from inspections, waxing or burnishing floors, training staff, timesheets, budgeting. Unfortunately, After 5 years GDI has laid off their employees working at Ottawa University since the Pandemic. Since then I've had the pleasure of becoming a Superintendent at Urbandale for a 3-month contract which extended to 6 months. I worked closely under Mike a senior superintendent and there I learned so much more; Plumbing, HVAC systems, Removing toilets, drywall and patching, changing light bulbs and electric sockets. I want to continue to keep working hard to learn my craft and not make any mistakes twice. I want to keep growing and see how far my knowledge and experience take me. I'm 28 with a beautiful wife and 2 daughters. I do all of this for them. Thank you for reading.
