Represented SSE renewables, UK (JV with Total Energy) as a Full Time - Resident Inspection Engineer (Fabrication & Painting) & Mechanical Completion Engineer for the fabrication of offshore substation platform top side & jackets at Eversendai, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Activities included monitoring, inspection, surveillance and advising on all the fabrication activities, review applicable documents (Reports, Procedures, company specification, P&ID, Iso piping drawings etc.), receiving materials, WPS/PQR & welder qualification tests, fabrication process (cutting, fit up, welding), PMI, PWHT, NDE activities and radiographs review & Weld audit etc., Review and conduct line check inspection to ensure it comply both Engineering and Quality requirements, prepare punch list, punch list clearing on test package issued to subcontractor prior to release for testing. Check System completion thru line checking based on (AFC) approved for construction drawings such as Isometrics & P&ID of each Test Package, check latest drawing revision. Responsible for issuance of Non-Conformance Report (NCR) if any violation and out of standard for piping works. Painting, Insulation & Cladding inspections of Substation Platforms & Painting of Jackets. Qualification of painting procedures as per project requirements & witness of paint application, testing & release. Erection of HVAC system along with accessories as per P&ID, Isometric & GA drawings. Mechanical completion of Offshore Wind Farm Jackets & Substation Platforms including Piping, Doors, HVAC, ACU units, Inert Gas skids, Foam skids & Safety equipment’s etc., Management of NCR’s & close out. Perform the walkthrough & prepare Punch list in accordance with scope of work & drawings. Final Mechanical Completion Certificate were reviewed & endorsed prior to sail away of the offshore structures. Review of final dossiers on site and at Vendors.

(Visual / Dimensional, Dye penetrate and Barcol Hardness Testing). Witness of destructive tests such as Stiffness Test, Axial Tensile Test & Hoop Tensile Test and Burst Test/Short time hydrostatic failure pressure test for GRP/GRE. Final product inspections of GRP/GRE/FRP pipes & fittings. Site installation/erections of GRP/GRE/FRP pipeline & piping's.
