I am a sports journalist with experience of more than 13 years, having worked for both print and online mediums at Hindustan Times (Mumbai) and CricketCountry (Zee Media Pvt Ltd). I have also worked in other beats such as Bollywood (BigOye.com, Reliance Big Entertainment) and IT (SiliconIndia and SmartTechie, Bangalore) as a reporter and desk person.I have experience working in multiple news environments, in print industry as well as online. As a cricket journalist for more than a decade, I have covered both international and domestic cricket in India. I have covered cricket matches across all three international formats (Test, ODI and T20Is as well as tour matches) and domestic cricket (Ranji Trophy, T20 Mumbai League). Before my three-year stint at Hindustan Times, I worked as a Senior Writer for CricketCountry, one of the largest cricket websites, for more than 6 years. As someone who looked after almost all functions of the website, I also covered matches, produced reports, handled live blogs, handled the website’s social media pages and campaigns, editing work, writing features, interviewing cricketers and covering cricket events in and around Mumbai. I have also worked as a Bollywood journalist with Reliance Big Entertainment's portal BigOye for more than a year and during my stint, I interviewed celebrities such as Boman Irani, Ajay Devgn, Vidya Balan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ram Gopal Varma, Minissha Lamba, Shankar (director), Sangeeth Sivan and more.I have done PG Diploma in Broadcast Journalism with advanced specialisation in International Politics and Business from IIJNM, Bangalore.
