As part of the Biomedical Engineering (B.E.) curriculum, I joined the "Sterling Speciality Clinics and Cancer Hospital" in order to gain practical knowledge in the field ofbiomedical technology. Here, I learned many things about the hospital and theinstruments which are generally used in different departments. The basic objective behind this training is to get technical and management knowledgeof medical instruments. In this training I have learned variousconcepts, specifications, principles and implications of medical equipment ofthe hospital. This training helped me to understand the working pattern of staff, how to overcome errors, the usage, calibration and maintenance of medical equipment. It also helps me to learn about the importance of team work and role of devotion towards the work. I consider it is a great opportunity to have training in this hospital.
