Using global load efficiency to estimate parallel execution time and speedup achieved by a parallel application- Studied how global load efficiency is affected by the access pattern and memory alignment in CUDA- Ran applications from the polybenchs implemented in par4all for various input sizes and collected the parallel execution times- Studied the effect of global load efficiency on parallel execution time and eventually on speedup

Mapping Gujarat household census data on Google Maps- Created a web application to display statistical data of rural and urban household sizes on google maps- Developed the application using JSF technology, Hibernate, Spring and Primefaces JavaScript library- Used latitude and longitude data to plot the districts and sub-districts of Gujarat on google maps- Added two search criteria for users - name search(name of district or sub-district) and mean search(range)

Incorporating Git functionality in Openfire Server- Studied about open source software Openfire Server and its applications- Developed a plugin for Openfire incorporating git commands and functionality- Used advance Java techniques of Servlets and Java Server Pages(JSP)- Plugin allows Git commands to be used from Openfire web application, but only through users with administrative privileges
