• Designed and implemented a efficient and robust anomaly detection R Shiny Dashboard that automatically detect spikes in weekly service part consumption by demand planning manager by part and to provide a signal to the associated demand planning manager to take appropriate action.• The Tool provides the necessary flexibility to the Demand Planning Managers to change the analysis period (weeks) for detecting spikes in consumption, resulting in different no. of parts for different periods.• Automating Demand Planning processes to present a macro and micro view of service demand to the organization leadership and developing additional KPI metrics to track the performance of Demand Planning Managers and enhanced it to provide additional valuable insights at the Part Number, Vehicle System, Vehicle Sub-System, Vehicle Topic and Demand Planning Manager level within a few minutes thereby reducing time spent by managers to generate report by over 95%.• Designed a tool to flag parts showing consistent monthly over/under consumption by ABC category through analyzing forecast & actual consumption to inform better forecasting and also improving service level worldwide.• Developed a tool to compare any two bi-weekly forecast cycles by providing total units/dollar comparison and flagging top 50 high runner parts by absolute consumption by DP to provide an overall performance snapshot for the team and management.• Developed a robust R Shiny Dashboard to allow the Demand Planning Team generate long-term and End-of-Life final buy forecasts for parts being discontinued in Production.• This serves as a good baseline/starting point for the Demand Planning Manager in helping them generate End-of-Life quantities as service-part lifecycle forecasting is a very difficult challenge for any industrial manufacturer.
